A strong community is the foundation for a safe, stable, and nurturing family life for children with medical and developmental disabilities.

You can be a part of the community that these children need; your personal involvement with Childkind will have a genuine positive impact.

Consider making a tax deductible contribution to Childkind or become a member of our family of volunteers.

Money

Give to a better life for Georgia’s children with medical and developmental disabilities. Our hope is that you can find a way to have a personal impact on a child, a family, or a whole group of households.

  • You can help us fund needed medical equipment and specialty furniture:   Our families need generators, bath seats, ramps, walkers, and a variety of other things children with medical or developmental disabilities must have in order to live in a real house with a real family. Such items typically cost Childkind $1,000 or more.
  • We will tell you exactly what we did with your contribution. For information about our current needs, contact Joseph Sarra, Director of Family Support Services at (404) 248-1980, extension 237 or by email to jsarra@childkind.org
  • You can make a monetary donation to our emergency medical supply fund. Contributions help us provide foster and at-risk families with specialty medical supplies used with the daily care of children with significant medical challenges.

Support Childkind and its work to insure that children with medical or developmental disabilities can live with a family within a supportive community.   Our 2008 audit reflects an efficient agency that spends 90% of its budget on program operations.

We appreciate your support and will provide you with additional information about Childkind and its operations if you so desire. Please contact Karl D. Lehman, President at 404-248-1980, extension 223 or by email to klehman@childkind.org
